Hi my name is Liz, I truly love and enjoy working with children of all ages. I have been a caretaker of children for many years. I have done many babysitting jobs as well as nanny jobs for families with children of different ages. Some of my experiences include working with families who have had more than one child in the household. The ages of children I have worked with range from infancy to 13 years of age. As a mother myself, who raised three boys of her own, who are now in their early 20's (my twin boys are now 23 years old and my youngest 21) I have many fun projects and activities that I enjoy sharing with the families I have worked with, which I myself used in raising my own three children. I know how important it is to keep children entertained and engaged in activities that Read more help them to grow in life with positive attitudes and values through the use of educational activities in which they can use in the future. In my years of working with many children, I can say I have grown and learned so much with each child I have worked closely with, as they taught me how to communicate with them in a child's level of communication (which is so much different than ours at a young age and very important, being that every child is unique), to see the world through their eyes. They have taught me how to be imaginative, creative, more active through playtime, arts and crafts and sports activities, as I helped them grow, explore and learn about life through good manners, conduct, respect and responsibility. I have my own form of transportation, and in the past have taken children I have worked with to the parks, for walks, to the libraries etc., all depending on the age of the child. I’ve been told by families that I have a youthful spirit, in which I believe comes from being around children my whole life. this has enabled me to develop a great bond and understanding with children of all ages. As an experienced and responsible adult, I can provide to families my trustworthiness, patient, safety-conscious, punctual, responsible, organized, loving, caring attitude, gentle character and time. Due to my years experience and enjoyment of taking care of children, I knew this was the right profession to approach.
