I'm 19 years old and I live in Collingswood. I recently had my first son. I am also a student at Camden County College, and I'm looking to pursue a degree in the education or musuem education fields. I have spent the past three years volunteering and working at the Franklin Institute Science Museum in Philadelphia. Currently, I work as a special programs educator, but last summer, you may have seen me on the floor performing some shows or stationed at activities! I have extensive experience in educating and interacting with children of all ages, but I am especially good with kids 5 years and older. Last summer, one of my responsibilities was to supervise and work in our Young Scientists' Area which was aimed for families withkids 8 years and younger. Additionally, I have volunteered as a museum interpreter at the Texas memorial Museum in Austin, TX. I have Read more experience watching up to three children at once, and I have cared for special needs children as well. I love working with children and encouraging a passion for inquiry and education and fun! REGARDING PETS I love all animals! For the past few years (how many, I can't even remember!), I have volunteered at adoption events for the Animal Adoption Center in Lindenwold, NJ. Essentially, I pick up a dog from the kennel and take them to our satellite events, so they can socialize with people and other dogs and increase their likelihood of being adopted. As for cats, I grew up with a Calico named Whitney. I loved her so much and miss her a lot. My aunt has a cat named Eric whom I visit occasionally. Because of my new baby, I haven't gotten to have any animals myself recently, but I would love the chance to cat or dog sit for someone!
