Hello! Thank you so much for taking the time to read my profile! My name is Jasmine, I am 19 years old, and I am currently in college studying with the hopes to become a Child Welfare Social Worker! Since I was a young girl I always knew in my heart that I was meant to work with children, so naturally, I began asking every adult I knew to allow me to babysit for them. I have been caring for children for 8+ years as a babysitter and as the older sister of 2 wonderful siblings. Fostering strong connections with children and maintaining order within a household has been second nature to me since my preteen years. Meal prep? Housework? Disastrous diaper blowouts? Been there, done that. There is no task nor mess I fear! Along with casual babysitting jobs with neighbors, relatives, and family friends, I also have 1 Read more year of experience at an accredited educational preschool. I first began as an Assistant Teacher in the 18-24 months room and was promoted to Lead Teacher of that room after six months. One of the biggest joys from my time there was seeing my students use the sign language we learned together to communicate their wants and needs to not only me but their parents and other teachers as well! After working with such a variety of children over the years, I’ve learned more than anything that for me, there is no greater feeling in life than seeing children take the knowledge and support you've given them, and turn it into their own personal success and accomplishments. The blinding smiles on children's faces after completing a challenging task will always be worth the hours spent practicing and perfecting the skills that were needed for it. My availability from September 2021 until about June of 2022 will be weekdays starting from 3:00 PM, and open flexibility for the weekends. I can provide proof of my CRP/AED/First Aid certifications along with my Covid-19 vaccination upon request. I look forward to hearing from you!
