I am a returned Peace Corps volunteer where I served in Guyana, South America. I have also worked in South Africa with children orphaned by HIV/AIDS at the Agape Child Care Center. My international child care experience is only half of my expereience as I have also worked with many different groups, organzizations and families locally. I have been babysitting my neighbors 2 children since they were born, I worked in a childrens homeless shelter and in the Peace Corps I was the director of the literacy program at the Windsor Forest Primary school. I love working with children and am a lot of fun to have around. The Peace Corps has taught many things but one of the most helpful things is resourcefulness. I was given very little resources to accomplish very big projects. This directly affects how I can care for children. Aside from caring for them physically, Read more feeding, bathing, etc., I also can make fun out of any and all situations with very few resources. I am currently a full time high schol teacher. I am truly someone who can be trusted with your children and I look forward to working with you.
