Work in a designated group home to provide training to consumers in the development of independent living skills including but not limited to instruction in social skills, meal preparation, money management, and hygiene. • Daily tasks include: documenting, issuing medication, doctor's appointments, recreation activities, meal preparation, assisting with daily hygiene, laundry care, house cleaning, shopping, and developing individual living goals. These skills are used to assist individuals with developmental disabilities. In order to establish employment with the agency, passing a background check is required. Also, background checks include Child Abuse Record Information (CARI) for the state of NewJersey. I am CPR & First Aid certified. I have raised two children of my own. I am a caring, patient and easygoing person. I am far from being an artist, but I enjoy creating crafts inspired by Pintrest.
