I am a college graduate with a degree in Nutrition and Food Science, concentration dietetics. I mention this because ultimately, my focus in nutrition has been to work with children and senior citizens in both schools as a nutrition educator and gyms and senior homes as an workshop instructor. I am certified in both AED and CPR Professional training by the the American Heart Association. Asides from being a nutrition educator at the YMCA in Newark, I also teach at different gyms about all nutrition and food related topics. Working with children on a daily basis, in my own classroom, has provided me with the experience and training necessary to not just educate classes but provide them with enrichment and engaging activities at all grade levels. I believe it is this training and exposure that makes me feel confident and qualified to be both a nanny, babysitter, and even a Read more caregiver for senior citizens. Asides from pursing my graduate degree in Public Health, I also want to spend more time working with younger children even as a babysitter in order to continue learning from them and having fun. I believe in making learning or taking care of children a fun, fulfilling experience. From using old cardboard boxes to make space rockets to making up scary camp stories- I know my heart is in the right place to become your children's favorite caregiver and your most trusted babysitter.
