I have a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from William Paterson University and a Master of Arts in Psychology as well from Pace University. I am currently a clinical psychology doctoral student at CUNY. The reason why I have chosen this path is because I love children; their development and their ability to learn really amaze me, as well as their resiliency and capacity to evolve with the right kind of care, help and guidance. This is why I have decided to become a Clinical Psychologist and hope to eventually work as a child (and play) therapist. I have been a babysitter for a total of 15 years now, and have also worked as a camp counselor in the past. Some of my professional experience in the field of Psychology includes working as a part-time research study manager for the Social Cognition and Imagination Lab at Pace University, being a Read more part-time data collector for the Neuroscience and Education Lab at New York University, and also being a volunteer at Passaic County Women's Center. Both of my research jobs have entailed research projects developed to study children, which has allowed me to learn a great deal about their development and have been key in my preparation to working closely with them. In terms of my certifications, I am certified in CPR and First-Aid. I am looking to start working with the weekly availability I have noted in my profile in June 2017. I am also a fluent Spanish speaker and would be willing to teach your children.
