Hello! My name is Diana Lovermi, I'm 19 years old and a college student who currently attends Stockton University. My major is Speech Pathology, however my career goal is to be a speech pathologist in an elementary school as I love working with young children. I have a lot of experience with children as last summer I was a Mother's Helper for my neighbor who has 3 children all under the age of 5. I would go over to her house everyday and play with, help feed, watch over, take walks/go to the park with the children and I loved it! I still babysit them on an as-need basis. Additionally, when I was a senior in high school I was a student in the childcare program, where children aged 3-5 would come to our class everyday and we would have lesson plans for them, snack time, play time, etc. It Read more was basically like a pre-school, but with high school seniors! That was a great experience and my favorite class in high school. In relation, I also worked at Dance Designs as an assistant teacher for a tap class where I would help children aged 7-11 learn and remember dance steps, and ultimately preform a recital at the end of the year. As for volunteer work, I have been involved with numerous organizations like Habitat for Humanity (helped paint/build houses), Club Fun (worked with children with special needs), The YMCA (assistant instructor for sports class) and others as well! Overall, I'm very enthusiastic and passionate about working with children. I'm a responsible and reliable person, but I also love to have fun and make time enjoyable.
