I have been babysitting for almost 7 years now (since I was 15). I have been with many families over the years, being with them for longer periods of time. I have been with many different types of families with differing amount of kids with differing ages. Here are some variations of families I have been with: -2 boys (ages 5 and 7) -3 boys (ages 4, 6 and 8) -3 girls (ages 1, 3, and 5) -4 boys (ages 1, 3, 5, and 7) -2 girls and a boy (ages 4, 5, and 8 *with them for almost 3 years -2 boys and 2 girls (ages 3, 5, 7, and 9 when I first started with them) babysit occasionally for them today and they are 7, 9, 11, and 13! -1 boy and 1 girl (ages 7 and 10) I worked at a summer camp all my summers of Read more high school. That was ages 4-12, helping with normal summer camp activities. I am in school to be a teacher. I am almost finished completing my degree for Elementary Education and I will be certified in Special Education as well. I worked in a school as a teacher's assistant. I also have subbed for grades Pre-K-8 at that same school! I absolutely love being around kids and helping them have fun! My rate with my other families has been $25/hour.
