As a previous nursing major (and now psychology major) in college, I have learned a lot about caring for children. Growing up, I have babysat my friend's brothers and sisters on many occasions. I also have experience with special needs children, as I frequently care for a family member with special needs. Currently, I work as a paraeducator in a public special education school. I work with children who have autism and occasionally work in the behavioral classrooms. We use ABA therapies and interventions in the classroom. This role has equipped me with a lot of patience, as well as experience in working through some very tough behaviors. In my spare time, I have many passions and hobbies. Those include photography, art, music, drawing, puzzles, and learning about new things.
