If you are looking for someone who is going to be interactive, fun, and loving with your cherished ones and not be too lazy to get your kids outside multiple times a day, then Michaela is certainly the right nanny for you! Michaela is currently caring for my 15 month old son, and the only reason she is needing to find a new job is because we are suddenly relocating to FL for a job offer (I adore her so much that I even offered for her to come with us for the summer). She really focuses on teaching my son new things at all times, whether that is reinforcing colors while playing in his ball pit, or stopping to touch the bark of a tree when they are outside, she 100% applies her teaching skills to my son day in and day out. She plays music in the background (toddler tunes- not every nanny is willing to listen to toddler tunes all day!) all the time, and promotes dancing and singing! He has also started to say so many new words since she started because she is adamant about slowly saying them for him to be able to watch her and repeat. Lastly, as a nanny of a 15 month old, you need patience, and that is certainly what you will get with Michaela! I have never heard her raise her voice with my son, and is always very calming and soothing with him! I'm VERY particular about who I leave my son with, and she has far exceeded my expectations. If you are concerned because she is younger, you should wipe that fear away; she is right next to my son at ALL times and has never let him get hurt (which honestly amazes me because he falls all the time, since he just started walking), and she is very MATURE. Please rest assured, that this review is not from someone who is at all disconnected from their child/nanny, as I work from home half the time and have gotten to know her very well, and I also have cameras, so I stay connected at all times. Your child/children will be in great hands for the summer if you choose Michaela!
