Hi! My name is Nicole and I am 31 years old. I will be attending Montclair State University as I begin my graduate degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, and I’m currently looking to add some work in childcare to my regular routine. For the past three years, I’ve been working in the fitness industry at a strength and conditioning-style studio, where I coach and lead clients through structured training programs. I have over ten years of experience in the fitness industry in a similar fashion, along with training clients one-on-one. Prior to my career, I spent over two years working in a gym childcare center and over two years as a rock climbing instructor, leading kids’ classes, summer camps, and one-on-one sessions. These experiences have allowed me to build strong connections with children while focusing on safety, confidence-building, and having fun. I also hold a personal training certification along Read more with a Youth Exercise Specialist certification, which allows me to bring an active, engaging, and health-conscious approach to childcare. I began babysitting at 16 years old and have experience caring for infants, toddlers, pre-teens, and teenagers. Over time, I’ve developed a strong sense of responsibility, patience, and the ability to adapt to each child’s unique personality and needs. As I transition into the mental health field, I’m especially excited to continue working with children and plan to incorporate this passion into my future career as a therapist. I strive to create a supportive, safe, and positive environment where kids feel comfortable, understood, and encouraged to be themselves. Availability: I am currently unavailable on Tuesdays and Thursdays until the first week of June. After that, I will have morning availability on those days until about 12 PM, as I will have class from 2:00–4:45 PM. I also work Saturday mornings in Westfield in the fitness industry. My schedule will adjust slightly in the fall once my class schedule is finalized, but I will communicate any updates in advance.
