I am a retired elementary teacher with thirty three years of teaching. I taught first, second, third and fourth grade, I am also a certified trained Reading Recovery teacher that taught children in first grade who were at risk in literacy. I would instruct one student at a time for thirty minutes in an intensive literacy lesson. I would also visit first and second grade classrooms and work in a small group setting with children who needed remedial instruction in reading and writing. I am a Grandmother to my nine year old Granddaughter. I have taken care of her over since she was an infant. I've taken her to school, picked her up from school, driven her to CCD , basketball practice and girl scouts. I have had many, many years of experience with children of all ages inside and outside of the classroom.
