Hello Families! My name is Janyia Mcgainey and I am looking for a morning/afternoon job with a start date of September. I am able to come as early as 6:30am and stay until 2pm. However, I am currently available for evenings, weekends, and/or weekday date nights. I am also comfortable working birthday parties or caring for up to 5 children when you want a night out with friends! Here is a little about me: I am 20 years old, with 8 years of experience in childcare. My experience comes from many different places, as I have worked in different settings and cared for different families. In addition to caring for children from 3 months to 12 years old, I have worked at the YMCA as a camp counselor, after-school coordinator, and in the nursey. I have also worked for a Nanny Agency, and as an Infant teacher at a KinderCare Read more Center. Furthermore, I have recently started an LLC called “Jay’s Childcare Service,” as I plan to continue to care for and work with children for as long as I can. I am currently enrolled at Rutgers University, pursuing a degree in Political Science and minoring in Urban Education, where I will then get my CDA and become a teacher. Working with children has brought out some of my best qualities. I am punctual, caring, energetic, and very engaging. My diverse childcare career has taught me how to tutor, teach swim lessons, and even be creative when I am terrible at art. ✅I am CPR, First-Aid and AED certified! ✅I have a reliable car with a clean driving record! ✅I am finger-printed (a background check which is required by the State of NJ for teachers) ✅I am comfortable doing light housework and running errands for the entire family.
