Hey, my name is Katie and I'm 28 years old. I've been babysitting since I was thirteen years old and I love working with kids because they can be such a breath of fresh air. They aren't too complicated and enjoy a lot of the same things I do (i.e. Crafts, games, snacks.) I am CPR certified and attended two years of nursing school so not only does NOTHING gross me out, but I know how to handle many different medical situations (including "playing doctor" when necessary.) I love to have fun and help kids learn and grow to become the best they can be. I also graduated with a BA in psychology so I am very patient, understanding, and am more than happy to help children express their emotions in healthy ways.

Title says it all. Why risk that Katie's behavior is the same with your child as it is with an interview. She was supposed to call us for an initial interview at a preset time she agreed to, and then didn't. We followed up with a call to her and left a detailed voicemail. I also sent an email afterwards and got no response. Obviously we wouldn't pursue her, but I felt it important for others to know what they were getting into if they thought about hiring Katie.
