I thoroughly enjoy babysitting as it gifts me to spend time with young people growing into their sense of self and exploring life with curiosity at every turn. I at 23 am still relearning what I love in this life and allowing my imagination to run free. The world only goes as far as you dream. The more families I meet, the more community is linked and we can support each other through the inevitable challenges in life. My main value is to serve others with the mentorship I've received so I may give back to life. This means investing into the future. My experience has been broad. I've worked in daycares, partook in sensory workshops for disabled children, and now work with autistic individuals from ages 6 to 14 with one-on-one DRBI therapy. Aside from that, my first long-term family I babysat for, I worked 36 hours with, Friday Read more to Sunday. That threw me into the pit of helping children grow past the obstacle of being overly attached to the parents, as many parents I babysat for would work from home (I know the struggle! That was me all my childhood). It would be left to my determination and the child's willingness to build a form of routine with new elements slowly introduced. I am trauma-informed through my work as a developmental play partner as well as in my time spent training to become a LMT and being a certified health coach. In my solidarity, it is truthful to say that it takes time to form a comfortable way of relating but once a connection is there, everything you do together becomes a glimmer to put life into motion. Children desire stimulation so that their neuro-capacity can expand and they can thrive with their innermost nature intact. I'm told that my greatest strength is being patient with people to see the soul in them come through. In my free time, I'm always changing modalities, but at the very moment, I am compiling a poetry book and building a health coaching practice to promote better self-acknowledgement so that people can trust their own walks of life.
