I have always felt an immense love and care for children. My friends and family have always told me that I have a mother’s spirit because I always look out for the safety and well-being of the people that are around me, especially children. I started taking care of children when I was in High School back in my home country Colombia. My neighbors and relatives always trusted me with their children because they knew that they would be in good hands. Once, I came to this country, I started doing a lot of babysitter jobs on and off because I also needed to go to College. During the last two years I have been working for two families with children between the ages of 0 months to 13 years. I love what I do and the privilege of being able to comfort children, have fun with them, learn new Read more things together and be able to communicate with them feels me with joy because I know that it can be a little difficult for some of them because they miss their parents. Therefore, to be able to accomplish that makes me feel really good about the job that I do. They became my motor and I always want to create new things and help them with each stage of their lives. They are the reason why I am studying nursing now because I want to do something beyond of taking care of them. I want to help them in another level where I can make them feel better when they get sick and that way they can go back to their natural and wonderful stage of being happy. I also have my CPR certification because safety is my number one priority and I want to be able to help in any situation. Children are a blessing and they deserve to be taking care of the best way while their parents are working to provide them a better future.
