Hi! I am a retired NJ Certified teacher who wishes to continue teaching and working with children but on an independent contractor basis. I prefer working with children ages 3.5 years to 14. However, should your child have special needs, the ages mentioned above do not apply. My availability is: Monday through Friday starting at 12:00 noon to accommodate early dismissal students. I have 20 plus years combined teaching and tutoring experience; and hold a Masters degree. Since 96% of my students really did like me. I suppose it is safe to say I have a delightful personality! My educational philosophy is: "All Minds can Learn when the Subject Matter is Presented in a way that is Unique to that Learner." My task is to always determine how that Mind learns, and by so doing, that Mind will Advance in that Subject Matter. This is true for all ages and Read more all students! Once home-work and tutoring sessions are over, I will prepare a simple meal for your child, or a snack as per your instructions. My background check and TB test are both current.
