I love being a sitter because it gives me the chance to build real connections with kids and support families in a meaningful way. I genuinely enjoy spending time with children—playing, teaching, listening, and helping them feel safe and valued. Whether we’re being silly, working through a challenge, or learning something new, I find so much joy in being part of their growth and everyday moments. I’ve been babysitting on and off for about a year, mostly for family friends and families in my community. Outside of that, I’ve gained a lot of experience working with kids through other roles. I’ve been a lifeguard for the past six years and currently work as a swim instructor, mostly with infants and young children. These roles have taught me to stay calm under pressure, be patient, and communicate clearly with children and parents alike. I’ve also worked with middle school and high Read more school students as a Spanish tutor and teaching assistant, which has helped me connect with older kids and support their learning in a meaningful way. In terms of training, I’m CPR and First Aid certified, CPI trained, and fluent in both English and Spanish. Safety is always a top priority for me, and I do my best to create a caring, engaging, and respectful environment where kids can thrive and families can feel at ease. I truly love what I do and take pride in being someone families can count on.
