As the older sister of two younger brothers, I've had to develop a responsible nature and a rock-solid patience. I have babysat both of them (one is 1 year younger, the other is 9 years younger) while growing up as my parents worked frequently. Aside from the personal, I have babysat for the children of parents' friends whenever they had a random trip or unexpectedly needed a babysitter immediately. I have also occasionally babysat during college for supplemental income before I worked part-time at my university library's cafe. Though much of my baby-sitting experience has been personal, for friends and family, my careful nature makes me adaptable to new environments. I learn quickly and individualize my baby-sitting style to suit the needs of the parents. I'm also a Studio Arts Minor so I enjoy helping kids develop their creative, imaginative sides through painting, drawing, and other visual mediums.
