I started building professional child care experience at 16. While working in a gym childcare center for 3 years, I built many strong relationships with the parents and children which lead to weekend sitting and eventually a nannying job. I was the personal nanny for a family (children ranging 7-13) for three consecutive Summers. While attending college full-time, I began working at a day care center. I gained experience with all age groups (infant to Pre-K) and was primarily the Head Teacher of the Pre-K classroom until becoming Group Teacher of the entire school. Over the past 10 years, I've found that the relationships I've built with families are what means the most. I still keep in touch with parents and children from my very first job!
