I grew up as the older sibling and by the age of 12 I was babysitting 4 siblings. I thank my early years with my siblings for showing me the ropes on how to behave in a position of power like that, especially facing your own flesh and blood. This past propelled me to a young life adoring kids md babysitting whenever I could. M grandmother and mother constantly had my hands full with babysitting jobs. Eventually I was contacted by my church pastor asking me to babysit a class all to myself while their parents are in mass. I graciously accepted and have now been taking care and having a blast with a group of my own! In addition, I have been a camp counselor for the YMCA back in my home state of California. Another counselor and I had a cabin of 12 for an entire week and Read more I remember those as some of the best weeks of my life. Creating unique, life changing experiences for kids puts a smile on my face but what I’ve come to admire most is being able to connect with kids on a level that parents struggle to.
