Hi my name is Lorie! I am a graduating college student this May and am looking for a long-term job. I have my BA in Psychology and am going for a MA in Forensic Psychology in the Fall. I love working with kids and have worked with kids ages 2 to 12 years old, mainly in the 3 to 6 year olds range. I have previously worked with local families when I was in high school for date nights or as needed. During college, I worked at a daycare with mainly kids 3-4 years old but would float around to the 1-2 year olds from time to time and assist with aftercare with kids up to 12 years old. I love being a sitter because I genuinely enjoy spending time with kids and being part of their growth and development. I still remember my own babysitter from when I was 10 to 14 years old and am still in contact with her. She was such a big part of my life and I hope I can do that for another family. I also appreciate the opportunity to build trust with both the kids and their families where I can help make daily routines easier and more enjoyable for everybody.
