Hello! My name is Sarene Thomas and I am 19 years old. I love to work with and care for children. Coming from a larger family, I have been surrounded by kids for my whole life. I began babysitting at the age of 13 and have watched kids who's ages ranged from 1 years old to 10 years old. I also worked at Kumon for two years. Kumon is a tutoring company which specializes in Math and Reading skills. During my time there I worked with children of ages ranging from 4 to 16 as well as children with different capabilities. My time at kumon really helped me to improve my skills with children. Because of this experience, I would more than willing to help any children that I babysit with any summer work, home work or anything else of that kind. I would also be willing to provide math Read more practice during the summer if the parent and/or child wanted to do so. In addition, I volunteered at Camp Fatima, which is a sleep away camp for children with mental and physical disabilities. My time at Camp Fatima was one the most rewarding and humbling experiences that I have had to date. Additionally I have been employed at Gap Inc where I was often commended for my customer service and engaging personality.
