I began working with children at the age of 15. I was a Counselor in Training at a sleep away camp. The following two years I worked as a Camp Counselor at the same camp. I have extensive experience with premature infants up to middle school children and with children on the spectrum, with ADHD or speech delays. I am well versed in the milestones a child should achieve and as a caregiver I implement age appropriate goals to make sure that I work with each child on all their domains of development including their cognitive, sociall, language, academic (if applicable) and physical; although safety is always my #1 priority. Working with children requires patience, empathy, being passionate about it and understanding that every child is different in their own way.
