An educated and professional recent college grad with over 7 years of abundant experience in all types of childcare! I have babysat for about 8 families regularly, and for children ages 6 months to 15 years. You could basically call me a professional sitter! I am very energetic , motivated, fun, active, healthy, and quite simply full of life. I am very creative and a care giver by nature, and my experience in childcare is vast: I worked as a nanny (part time) for a now 8 year old child and a 13 year old child for the past 5 years. My duties include everything from daily nighttime bath and bed routines to helping organize play-dates and birthday parties! I provided daily transportation for the children, cooked meals, helped with homework, organized activities, lots of playing, and the occasional overnight stay and extended overnight stays for when mom travels. I Read more am very close to this family and have learned a great deal about childcare from this experience, and I still see this family weekly. In addition to the previous family, for the past 2+ years I have simultaneously provided after school care 3 days a week for a family with two young children (ages 8 and 10). These jobs were very similar and once again, I handled after school transportation, cooking meals, bedtime routine, and lots of active play, crafts, and fun! While living in New England for a short time, I worked for a family 3 days a week doing school pickup, dinner, and bedtime routine with a 15 month child and a 6 year old child. This job was challenging at times but has given me a ton of experience with infants and was been a real joy! I have a very sufficient amount of experience with infants and multiples, children with allergies and children with autism and other special needs. I have been passionate about caring for children ever since I can remember. I have a younger sister who I have looked after her entire life and as soon as I became old enough to be responsible to care for other children I have always taken any opportunity I could get. It has been a life long passion of mine and would love the opportunity to care for your children as well! I am flexible with my availability, very hands on, can be silly at time but also structured and serious when needed! I am a healthy, non smoker with a reliable car. All in all, I really love being a child care provider and know that my experiences as well as my love for children make me great at what I do! :)
