I hired Ashely to work as an after school and evening sitter. When she accepted the job, she told me she had a vacation planned. She worked for a few weeks, took her vacation, and never returned! She did not answer phone calls. She did not respond to texts. She just vanished! I liked her and thought she was a lovely person so I was shocked that she would behave so irresponsibly. If she no longer wanted the job, she could have given me the courtesy of calling to let me know. Employers beware!
