Hi! My name is Karla Sanchez, and I'm from Wood-Ridge, NJ. I'm currently seeking for a job, I am attending Bergen Community College, where I take most of my classes online, as I pursue a degree in elementary education. I have extensive experience working with children, having spent the past five years in the field. I began my career as a teaching assistant and eventually worked my way up to a head teacher position. I have been fortunate enough to build strong relationships with the parents of the children I have taught, which has led to occasional weekend babysitting opportunities. The trust and connection I have established with these families have not only strengthened my skills in childcare but have also made my work incredibly rewarding and fulfilling. I have spent the past five years working in school settings, where I found the experience to be rewarding and educational. My primary goal is to foster a safe and engaging learning environment while managing my studies effectively at Bergen Community College, where I am pursuing a degree in elementary education. In addition to my hands-on experience, I am certified in CPR and first aid. I have also voluntarily completed several courses on NJCCIS, including Health, Safety, and Child Growth, among others.
