Hi! My name is Penny. My parents and I moved to New Mexico when I was 11. Now, I am a childless housewife in my 30s with a BA in Psychology from UNM. I am very active with my church's youth and enjoy spending time with the younger kids, too. I periodically assist an elementary teacher with a variety of classroom tasks including grading, party planning, and setting up hands-on projects. My experience includes 6 years of volunteering as a bereavement facilitator with the Children's Grief Center for their teen groups. I also worked with CYFD for a year transporting children in foster care to and from appointments and supervising visitation. I'm an animal lover with several cats and dogs. My goal is to fill some of my time and receive a little extra spending money. I especially like kids who are creative, articulate, and eager to learn.
