I have the patients of a grandma and the energy of a twenty year old. I have a bachelor’s degree in human service with extensive study in early childhood development. I am taking a little break from a master's degree in business management. I worked with developmentally disabled adults and children with behavior disorders, as a living skills instructor and as a program manager. I have learned that if you empower your children through allowing them to make choices regarding their behavior then they are less likely to 'act out' in behaviors that are negative to their personal growth. My 2 boys that I caregiver for are back in school so my hours have shortened. I find myself with more time and energy than I know what to do with.
