I have extensive experience working with elementary-aged through high school-aged children. As a high school student, I volunteered with summer camps at an equestrian center. I also volunteered with Rides & Reins, a therapeutic riding center. More recently, in 2013 I was a Summer School Volunteer at Hmong International Academy in Minneapolis. I assisted with the summer kindergarten classes. Additionally, from 2014-2016 I worked as an English teacher in Japan. I taught high school students at three different schools. In addition to planning lessons and teaching, I coached students for speech contests and interviews. In addition to childcare, I am comfortable with caring for pets. I grew up with dogs and am very knowledgeable in their care.
