My parents are both recovering drug addicts, that i dearly forgive but will never forget the life they have me. i was put in the parent role when i was about 6 years old having no choice but to raise my siblings while my parents were gone. My mother now has 9 years sober which i am incredibly thankful for, but question why still to this day. it was in the 4th grade when i just had enough and had to tell somebody. my siblings and i then went into cps custody for about 9 months. my childhood was taken from me but, i don't regret it. because of those certain choices i now know what i know now and are really good with children. i don't have any but i would love a family of my own in the future.
