I have previously worked in a Montessori, an at home day care and an Alzheimer’s care facility as a cafeteria hand and I learned a lot. I am currently enrolled at GCU for elementary level learning and in my second year. I have always loved kids, in 2007 my niece was born and her parents were teenagers so I handled a lot of the responsibility of a newborn even as a young child. My mother is going through chemotherapy for breast cancer which is hard on my family so I want to get a side job to help out. My last few jobs have been corporate which I didn’t like at all it felt very disconnected and I think going back to what originally made me happy (caring for people) will put me in the right direction.
