Hi! :) My name is Jamie Lee and I am a second-year student at the Elisabeth Haub School of Law in White Plains, New York. I am from Las Cruces, New Mexico, but I came all the way to New York to study at the #1 environmental law school in the country! I am interested especially interested in animal welfare issues and hope to pursue work that fosters the interplay between animal welfare, environmental conservation, and human health. While my current focus lies in pursuing a career in animal law, I also have a love for music performance and education that I plan to continue to foster. I play the euphonium and have been a member, leader, and educator in various ensembles for over 15 years. Additionally, I have been teaching private music lessons to K-12 and college-age students for 6 years. I have been caring for children for 5 Read more years, starting during my undergraduate education and continuing as I pursue my legal education. Spending time with and caring for children brings me so much joy and a sense of fulfillment! In all I do, my priority is to create a safe, nurturing, and enriching environment for the children I care for.
