I have a 19 yr old daughter, so I have that experience. I am the eldest in my family I took care of my siblings since my mom worked a lot. I've been taking care of kiddos for some time. I was a nanny for 2 boys 4 and 7. I made them breakfast before we took the 7yr old to school. During the day I did reading and writing exercises. A different matter and number are focused on weekly. Then we would incorporate colors, manners, shapes and animals. I made all of the work sheets myself. Then lunch and a break followed by play or reading. We would pick up the 7yr old allow him to unwind and have a snack. Then they would do homework until the parents arrived. I also volunteered at Liberty H. S's color guard. My sister in law is the color guard coach as Read more well as their English teacher. I helped keep the girls organized and on task. I even got to travel with them to CA for a competition. It was awesome watching these kids learn a show step by step. They were a great bunch of kids! I learned a lot from those kids and Cristy. I coached my sister's softball for a few years. The girls were 11,12 and 13. I played softball my whole life so it was fun. The best part was watching the girls learn not only the fundamentals of softball but teamwork, self esteem and a sense of accomplishment.
