I am nineteen, I am currently living with my mom and I am going to go to school for mental health in youth and I am going to pursue a career in American Sign Language. I love being around kids of all ages; they're minds are so pure, full of imagination and need a constant positive influence in their lives to help them become even more amazing individuals than they already are. I have been babysitting since I was about twelve years old; I started by watching my little brother's then my English teacher's daughters ages 3 and 6. While in elementary school and middle school I helped care for special needs children that had different disabilities, needs and different tasks to learn every day which included memory skills, tying their shoes, making easy snacks, speech, addresses and phone numbers, writing and spelling their name's, cleaning and more; we also Read more did crafts, played fun educational games and watched movies. I have helped my friend with her newborn son from the time she found out she was pregnant until now and he is two and a half currently, I also watch my coworker's children who are seven and nine on occasion when she and her boyfriend go on date nights; I cook and make snacks for them whether they are at my home or I am at theirs. Most recently I have helped raise my ex coworker's baby and child starting when they were eight months old and two years old while she was away for a while, while I helped care for them I changed diapers, made bottles, washed clothes, I took them to the park for a couple of hours with a picnic, to the store to pick out snacks, buy diapers and formula, helped potty train the two year old, put them down for naps and bed and we played plenty of games and spent countless hours coloring, watching cartoons and at the park.
