Hi! I’m Taylynn. I’m 23 years old and fresh out of college, currently working as a Domestic Violence Advocate for the Washoe Tribe of Nevada and California. A big part of who I am is being an older sister to three boys and growing up surrounded by younger relatives and sports environments. I’ve always naturally stepped into leadership and caregiving roles. I’m active, patient, dependable, and love creating a safe space where kids feel heard and comfortable. Whether that’s helping with homework, playing outside, doing crafts, or just being someone they can talk to, I genuinely enjoy building connections with children and supporting their growth. I am continuing my education and pursuing a masters degree in adolescent behavior in order to become a children's counselor/therapist. As far as skills I feel confident in Crisis response and safety planning experience, I have strong communication and de-escalation skills, I am organized and Read more dependable and have experience supporting children experiencing emotional stress. I believe in healthy boundaries and child safety/Comfortability. Sometimes I prefer children to adults because they will tell you how it is haha!
