I am a college student majoring in Special Education. I currently work in a City of Henderson Therapeutic Recreation program with teens and adults who have special needs. Just a few disabilities I have experience with are Autism Spectrum Disorder, Down Syndrome, and Cerebral Palsy. I have worked with participants who have been deaf or blind. I am currently working on learning American Sign Language. I worked for the City of Henderson's Kids Zone program for several summers, with kids ranging from ages 5-12, including several children with special needs. I am the oldest child of my family, and I have helped a lot with raising my youngest siblings since they were born. A family friend has an at home daycare, where I sometimes help with infants and young children. I absolutely adore kids. I love to do crafts and play games.
