Aloha (Hello), I am Tiana Ululani-Kim Soares born and raised on the Big Island of Hawai’i. I am 26 years old. I moved here to Henderson NV; June of 2018. My experience in Child care for the past 12 years started at the age of 14 in assisting my mom in her child care program Lana’i Hana Lima (Nanny to Go); latter becoming her assistant and then her partner from 2015 until last year when I moved to Henderson NV. I also worked at the YMCA after school program and summer program for 2 years under the supervision of Miss Rockelle Augustine and Y-Tots Preschool as an aide under Miss Tonya Calicdon. As a child care provider, I have attended numerous Early Childhood educational trainings and workshops. As a Hawai’i American Red Cross volunteer I obtained my Adult, infant, toddler CPR, First Aide and AED certification. My experience working with Read more children ranging from newborn to the age of 12. My responsibilities were to provide a safe, clean and fun learning environment. Planning, preparing and implementing activities that met the curriculum and educational plan. Providing calendars and special events such as Xmas programs, Easter, and calendar themed learning opportunities such as Transportation, Animals, Culture (Hawaiian), and Occupation just to name a few. Prepared and provided 2 snacks and lunch on a daily bases. I am hard working, dependable, creative and trustworthy.
