Hello! I am from Kona, Hawaii and recently moved to Las Vegas. I am an occupational therapy student and completed my didactic studies this year. My coursework included pediatrics in OT and I also did a 6-week pediatric OT telehealth internship. I have many years of experience providing childcare, including nanny work in New York City and hotel babysitting in Hawaii. I was also a Kumon tutor for two years. I love children, and their safety and well-being are priority when in my care. I am also fun and love to play games, etc.

She interviewed really well and she seemed really smart. But then on her first day, I was giving her the specifics of the job, a lot of information, I know, I felt she was not listening to what I was saying, like spacing out. When someone does not look you in the eyes when you talk... red flag. Right there and then I should have known she wasn't a right match for us. And then on her 3rd day, She was sick and didn't get the kids from school. She did not call me or my husband to let us know. My kids were at school's office for an hour before I found out. (The school also failed in contacting me, obviously!) When I got there she had arrived and there was no apology coming out of her, just excuses. Her lack of problem solving at a time of need was zero! Everybody has a bad day, phones don't work, subway delays... But to be responsible of kids is a bid deal and a 32 year old person should know how to deal with unexpected problems.
