I became a caregiver when I realized that I had a very strong passion to take care of children, having that nurturing quality in me. Growing up, I helped take care of my siblings because my mom was a single parent. I learned how to make bottles, swaddle a baby, how to put together healthy but fun meals for toddlers, help with homework, etc. When I was 15, I started babysitting my Aunt's kids, my aunt's friend's kids, and my cousins. I took a child development class, got my CPR/First Aid license, and started babysitting for families other than the ones I knew personally. Activities I enjoy doing are playing productive games outside, reading books, arts and crafts, and singing songs such as the wheels on the bus.
