Dear Parents, I am a passionate caregiver of all ages, from infants through the elderly. My background is in early childhood education (certificate), teaching (assistant) and the medical field (CNA). I studied nursing and worked in home health, elementary schools and in homes. I have had overnight jobs with many children and elderly persons. In 2007 I earned degrees in Liberal Arts, Speech-Language Pathology Assisting and a certificate in sign language. I interned at an elementary school and a pre-school, as a speech-language pathology assistant, and then worked for a company called "Every Child Achieves", as a Speech Assistant with toddlers in their homes. In the summer of 2011, I worked as a Speech Assistant at El Camino School-Special Education, in Pomona, CA. In the 2015-2016 school year, I worked as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant in an elementary school and I am presently working in 5 elementary schools as a SLPA. On the Read more home front, I loved being a mother and raising my successful children. Nine years ago, I was my grandson's primary care giver for the first 15 months of his life. I spent 5 weeks (April - May, 2014) teaching him how to use vowels to sound out new words. He learned over 300 new words and began reading books. From December - March of 2014, I cared for three children overnight, while their father worked the night shift. We spent the early morning hours preparing for school, cooking, reading, drawing, crafting and learning the art of paper folding. In addition, I have assisted children in the school system (some with special needs). I took many children on outings and taught many to swim. Diane helped me care for my 85 yo mother for over a month. She even stayed with her for four days while my husband and I went to a work related conference. She is wonderful, very caring, sweet - all the traits one looks for in a caregiver. The only thing I wish is that she lived near my daughter so she could babysit my granddaughters too.

Diane is a very warm, kind hearted person and it shows when she interacts with anyone - young or old. We have used her a couple times and our entire family adores her! My children said that she was a great cook, she was very tidy, she drove all the way from her home to ours... she cared for our pets and children and our home in such a way that she will ALWAYS be our first choice sitter.
