I have worked with children and teens for the last 10 years in several different settings. Every summer I have worked in a few different summer camps caring for kids ages 6-17. I have a master's in Secondary Education and have completed student teaching with 7th and 8th graders. I worked as a substitute teacher and covered classes ranging from Kindergarten grade through 12th in various subjects as well as in special education classrooms. I currently work fulltime for Girl Scouts as their Camp & Outdoor Program Specialist. The girls we work with range from Kindergarten through high school. I create and facilitate different outdoor programs, assist will a variety of other girl programs and serve as their residential summer camp director.
