I am a stepmother to 2 wonderful kids, I have been a part of their life for almost 5 years now. I have experience with kids ages 4 to 10. They are both special needs so I have experience in that aspect. I am currently certified as an emergency substitute teacher, but I have found it very difficult to be with 20 or so kids in a classroom by myself (as I am soft spoken) so that is why I am looking to narrow it down to only watching one or two children. Since I am certified as a substitute I have had a very thorough background check done by the Nevada Department of Education. I am willing to show my license in person to any potential family that I will babysit for. I am not currently certified for cpr or first aid but I have previous experience as a Read more first responder, that was about 7 years ago. I am a stay at home step mother and we have the children every other week (every 2 weeks in the summertime) so I would only be able to babysit the weeks we do not have the children.
