I have been working with children for almost 10 years now, as a nanny, babysitter, librarian, and pre-school teaching assistant. I am currently a law student at Seton Hall in Newark, and completed my undergraduate from Barnard College of Columbia University. I have worked as a camp counselor with kids of all different ages, which allowed for great exploration and active outdoor play. It definitely helped with exercising patience, love, and nurturing, while still keeping order. Also, I worked as a teaching assistant at a daycare, and early childhood education center that had children from infancy to pre-school age in the full time program, and children up to fifth grade in the part-time program. I worked as a children's librarian assistant during the librarian's maternity leave, which included story times, and other children's programming. I have experience making meals and doing light laundry for other families I work for currently Read more and from the past. I have previously worked in a small village library in my hometown, and therefore love to read children's books (with all the voices, of course)! I have been in theatre since a young age, and love to put on productions, dress up and encourage imagination. Additionally, I have been playing violin since the first grade and enjoy to teach basic music skills. I am CPR certified, Red Cross lifeguard certified, first aid certified, a non-smoker. I am available starting immediately for weekend, and weeknight work.
