My name is Carah, and I am a 27 year old teacher in CSSU. I obtained my master's degree in Literacy (B-6) from SUNY Albany. I also have my initial teaching certification in Early Childhood/Childhood Education (B-6) from SUNY Geneseo. I have a multitude of experiences working with children, ranging from student teaching to subbing in all grades to working in the infant and toddler rooms at a daycare in my hometown to being a preschool teacher for a year. Most recently, I completed a kindergarten and first grade long-term subbing position in the '14-'15 school year, and I just completed one full year of teaching second grade. I love working with children--their perspective is simply so refreshing! I could not imagine a career in any other field, as teaching is truly my number one passion.
