Hi my name is Melanie! I have a teaching license in both Early Childhood and Adolescent Education and have been teaching in Westchester for about 10 years now. I love teaching children new things and coming up with educational activities and arts & crafts, some of which are listed in my Adventures tab for an additional cost. After teaching kids in a classroom setting all day it’s nice to have a part time job where I can enjoying playing with the kids and hopefully creating some fun projects along the way! I have been babysitting long before teaching and have plenty of experience with children ranging from newborns up until teens. I do have experience with special needs children as well. While babysitting I am very familiar with following routines for nap times, bedtime, bath time, and dinner time. I am comfortable preparing light meals, cleaning, laundry, and walking/feeding pets. Read more I do provide overnight care as well. I do have my own car and am comfortable driving to and from activities or going on day trips to the zoo, aquariums, or attractions nearby. As I am a teacher I am very familiar with chaperoning field trips with groups of up to 10 students at a time.
