Hello! I completing my Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling and am looking for babysitting and nannying jobs to support myself through school. I regularly babysat for a family with an infant, a three-year-old, and a six year-old. The mother had just recently had a cesarean section so I mainly helped her manage the kids while she was resting and working from home. I also regularly nannied for a family with an eight-year-old daughter and a 12-year-old son. I would pick the kids up from school, ride the subway with them back to their house, make them a snack, and do English reading/writing tutoring for an hour. My professional background working with kids involves orphanages and children's shelters where I worked with kids (ages 0-13) with everyday tasks and schoolwork. I have worked at schools supporting and playing with students (ages 6-18). I completed my counseling practicum training at a Read more high school where l counseled students (ages 14-18). Since I have worked in a school in New York State, I have completed and passed all fingerprinting and background checks as required by the state. My educational background equipped me with vast knowledge in educational and developmental psychology in addition to parenting psychology. My calm and patient personality makes working with families very fun for me. I am a creative and active person who loves incorporating crafts and games into caretaking. I also have a yoga teaching certification. I have a car and driver's license. Additionally, I have conversational Spanish, German, and Italian language skills.
