I am a first year student at SUNY New Paltz looking for babysitting jobs! I am the oldest of many little cousins, so I have always been surrounded by lots of children and I have always loved it. Throughout high school, I babysat for multiple families with kids of all ages. Unfortunately I do not have a car on campus this year, but I have a few friends with cars that would be willing to drive me if needed. My approach to childcare is to use calm tones and let the children tell me how they are feeling in moments of frustration. I also enjoy doing age-appropriate crafts with kids and love to go on walks if there are nearby parks or places that they like to go to. I love working with children because they’re all so unique and I always leave babysitting jobs knowing more than I did Read more before coming! I have been trained by the Red Cross in babysitting, am CPR certified, and can provide contacts of people I used to babysit for at my hometown if needed.
