Hello my name is Hunter Culbertson and I am a friendly, fun, energetic babysitter. I am 20 in college and a good student I have been working with kids for 5 years now and I loved every minute of it. I can cook, clean, and are great around pets (once they get used to me). My number 1 priority is to keep your child safe and healthy mentally, emotionally, and physically. My goal for your child is to help them exceed in academics and help them realize that if they use there imagination it opens the door to new things. I have experience with new normal from my previous nanny job as well as my job at the JCC of Rochester. I currently just moved back to Brooklyn and am looking for a job and can start right away! My major is Psychology and I'm minoring in Childhood Education. I've Read more been babysitting since I was 14 years old and have much experience throughout the years. I enjoy working with children and having them learn, grow and play. I was currently working in upstate New York at the JCC of Rochester in the departments of sitter-service which is infants(6 weeks to 4 years old) as well as the play gym which is 4 years old to 10 years old. I was also a nanny for a family with an 8-year-old daughter and 2-year-old son who I meet through the JCC and also nannied a newborn for a couple months to help 30 family with the transition with a new baby. I also have experience with taking care of children with disabilities and special needs. When I was in high school, I would stay after school every Wed and work with a boy who has Down syndrome and we would go exercise. We would make crafts, and participate in after school activities and just have fun. He looked up to me as a role model and a friend by the end of the school year. He went from being shy and keeping to himself to becoming more confident in the things he would do. Instead of sitting out on activities he would join in and not want to leave to go on the bus. While living in Rochester, I was babysitting for a family once every week, which they had two children with autism. I also met this family through my work and continued to work with their children at the JCC. I have many references and can have a letter of recommendation upon your request. I'm also CPR certified. Please if you have any questions don't hesitate to email me at hunter_culbertson@yahoo.com or call me at 585-414-6667 Thanks!
